Duties and Responsibilities
The Department of Computer Science is seeking to appoint an experienced Programme Administrator to provide comprehensive and high-quality support to postgraduate taught students and staff, based within the Teaching and Learning team.
This is an ideal development opportunity for someone interested in supporting students through working in areas such as admissions, assessments, and general programme administration in a forward-looking team striving to improve processes through technical innovation.
This will be a fixed term secondment opportunity until 14 January 2022, reporting to the Senior Teaching and Learning Administrator (Postgraduate programmes).
We are seeking to appoint an individual with 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (Including Mathematics and English Language) or the equivalent, with a comprehensive understanding of the annual cycle of taught student administration. Excellent IT skills are essential, particularly in Outlook, Word, and Excel.
You will have excellent communication skills, particularly in writing and relevant experience of working in UK higher education, in teaching administration and student support.
The post is busy and varied and would suit someone wishing to progress their career in Higher Education administration.
