Applications are invited for a Clinical Research Associate in Cardiology, Department of Medicine.

This post offers unrivalled opportunity to undertake high quality research within an outstanding academic and clinical environment. Applicants should be medically qualified, have full GMC registration, and an existing NTN/NTN(A) in Cardiology. Applicants with a research interest in translational clinical trials and immunology are particularly welcome.

You are required to be of the standing required for an appropriate honorary contract of service with the NHS LETB (specialist trainee/LETB), and opportunities are available to undertake a MD or PhD degree during your employment (which is not funded).

  • £35,155 – £62,179 (StR)
  • £34,563 – £59,845 (SpR)
  • £28,808 – £53,077 (Nodal)

This is an integrated appointment between the University and Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (“NHS Trust”). You will therefore also be issued with an Honorary Clinical Contract by the NHS Trust. You should be aware that if your contract with the NHS Trust is terminated your employment with the University will be terminated, and vice versa.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
