Applications are invited for the post of Community Learning Coordinator with responsibility for delivering the Garden’s community programme, which includes delivering sessions to a wide variety of community groups on subjects relating to the Botanic Garden around horticulture, crafts or wellbeing activities.
We are looking for an effective team player to work within the Learning Team. Candidates should have experience of teaching, working with community groups, and delivering horticulture and other activities to a diverse audience.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are essential. Candidates should also possess the ability to prioritise, delegate and work under pressure to inflexible deadlines. The Garden is looking for a creative thinker, who is able to translate great ideas into reality, within the confines of small budgets. Good project management, organisational skills and a high level of computer literacy are also essential.
