Applications are invited from diagnostic radiographers holding either the Diploma of the College of Radiographers or an equivalent degree, to lead a team of veterinary radiographers from 1st March 2021 or as soon as possible after that date.
You will be responsible for managing the facilities and the Radiography team within the diagnostic imaging service for the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital. You will be able to carry out radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations of all species in the radiography department, equine theatre and small animal theatre. Training in the use of other imaging modalities would be an advantage. You will have responsibility for teaching students and training residents in the use of radiographic equipment. You will need excellent communication skills in relation to practical instruction of students and contact with clients and veterinarians. Previous supervisory experience would be advantageous.
