Reporting to the UAS Business Manager in the HR Division, with a dotted reporting line to the Head of Director’s Office in the Finance Division, the HR Co-ordinator will provide a full local HR service to the Finance Division. The role manages and leads on all day to day local HR functions including recruitment processes, HR issues and contractual matters. Additional to offering support and advice as appropriate, the role holder will monitor and review systems and procedures for ensuring best practice and compliance; support the development of local HR policies; making recommendations for improvements, implementing and monitoring changes.

Educated to degree level, CIPD level 5 minimum or equivalent level of practical experience, you will demonstrate advanced knowledge of HR Administration involving a critical understanding of relevant theory and principles. Knowledge of employment law, HR policies and procedures are essential. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
