The Department of Physics is seeking a motivated individual to provide support in an administrative Hub office, delivering a pro-active and responsive service to academic and research staff, graduate students and visitors.
This is an exciting position within an existing team providing wide-ranging administrative support with particular focus in the field of HR.
It is vital that you possess excellent inter-personal skills to be able to work well with your Hub team and manage good working relationships with a wide variety of people from all over the world.
You will have GCSE level grades A-C or equivalent / NVQ Level 2 or equivalent level of practical experience. Previous experience working in an office environment would be advantageous, but is not essential as full training will be provided.
This is a full-time, permanent position with anticipated working hours of 9am ¿ 5.30pm.
As well as developments in its administration, the Department is looking forward to further major developments, including planning for a state-of-the-art, multi-million pound new building within the next three years.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 years in the first instance.
Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment.
