We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Clerk to join the Queen’s Veterinary School Hospital. This is a full time position working 36.5 hours a week.

You will be responsible for providing departments with pharmaceutical supplies in order for the Hospital to operate effectively and will play a crucial role in ensuring drugs, fluids and consumables are available at all times. You will interact regularly with clinicians, staff, students, veterinary referral practices and drug company representatives so excellent communication skills are essential.

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of veterinary/human medical terminology or previous experience in a related area e.g. NHS or veterinary.

You should have a good level of numeracy with an eye for detail, be computer literate and be able to deal with a wide range of people at all levels.
