The Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics invites applications for the position of Postdoctoral Research Associate to work with Dr Qingyuan Zhao. The proposed research project is on Causal Inference with Novel Study Designs. Applicants with an interest in other topics in statistics are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants should have, or be about to complete, a PhD in Statistics or a related field. They must demonstrate a strong research track record and may have previous postdoc experience. Duties include developing and conducting individual and collaborative research projects. Candidates will be expected to plan and manage their own research and administration, with guidance if required. They must be able to communicate material of a technical nature and be able to build internal and external contacts. The post holder may be asked to assist in the supervision of student projects, the development of student research skills, provide instruction or plan/deliver seminars relating to the research area.
