We invite applications for a Research Assistant to work within the group of Prof. Silvia Vignolini at the Department of Chemistry. The position will be focused on the characterisation of the optical properties of structural coloured bacteria and exploitation of their behaviour for photolithography applications.
Applicants should have (or be about to obtain) a Masters degree in biology, biotechnology or material science with clear experience in cell biology, microbiology and microscopy. Expertise in spectroscopy would be advantageous.
