We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Research Coordinator. The post holder will play a key role in clinical study coordination in two centres, Cambridge, and Edinburgh. You will oversee and assist recruiting participants for clinical and experimental pain research. You will have professional and managerial responsibility for experimental and observational (non-drug) studies in patients and healthy volunteers. The experimental studies are based primarily at the Addenbrooke’s Centre for Clinical Investigation, and also in CAMPain group, Department of Medicine. You will facilitate meetings between NHS consultants, patients (charity) and external academic/ industrial partners but will be working alongside a clinical research nurse and a database manager day-to-day.

Candidates who can demonstrate experience equivalent to managing a clinical (human) lab or who possess a clinical background (medical sciences, physiotherapy, psychology), are encouraged to apply.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
